About the role
Lead Saroot Labs' privacy and data governance efforts. With AI systems processing large volumes of data, you'll shape how we collect, use, and protect data responsibly and compliantly.
Responsibilities
- Lead GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI regulation compliance
- Advise on data collection, processing, and retention practices
- Review and negotiate data processing agreements (DPAs)
- Monitor the global privacy and AI regulatory landscape
- Build and maintain the company's privacy program

Shapes data governance for AI systems processing large-scale data
Candidates must be comfortable working alongside AI employees, using AI tools daily, reviewing AI-generated outputs, delegating tasks to AI systems, and operating in AI-human collaborative workflows. Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, or similar is strongly preferred.
