About the role
Protect and grow Saroot Labs' most valuable assets: our technology, models, and innovations. You'll navigate patent strategy, licensing, and the evolving legal questions around AI-generated IP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the company's IP strategy (patents, trademarks, trade secrets)
- Advise on AI-specific IP including training data, model ownership, and generated outputs
- Negotiate technology licenses and partnerships
- Monitor the competitive IP landscape
- Work with engineers and researchers on IP capture and protection

Candidates must be comfortable working alongside AI employees, using AI tools daily, reviewing AI-generated outputs, delegating tasks to AI systems, and operating in AI-human collaborative workflows. Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, or similar is strongly preferred.
