AI Engineer

About the role

Build the AI agents and workflows that are core to Saroot Labs. You'll design agent architectures, implement RAG systems, optimize prompts, and ship AI that works reliably at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents using LLMs and agent frameworks
• Design and implement multi-step AI workflows
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
• Optimize prompts, tool usage, and agent performance
• Evaluate and improve AI output quality in production

Skills

Builds AI workflows and agents

Candidates must be comfortable working alongside AI employees, using AI tools daily, reviewing AI-generated outputs, delegating tasks to AI systems, and operating in AI-human collaborative workflows. Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Copilot, or similar is strongly preferred.
